Hi. I’m Jamie.
First of all, thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
I was born and raised in Florida. I moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida in 2006 and never left. I love the Gainesville community. I love how close we are to nature, how many parks there are in the city, and I think the influx of students keeps everyone and everything young.
As an only grandchild, I was always the main subject in my Grandpa Hy’s amateur photography career. Years later, after purchasing a camera for the graphic design program at Santa Fe College, I learned that I had the bug as well. I started taking portraits professionally in 2012 and my experience in natural light photography took off from there. There is nothing better than loving what you do for a living and I am thankful every time I pick up my camera.
Besides photography, I enjoy road trips (or travel of any kind), cold weather, my two adorable cats, Instagraming pictures of my food, and staying busy.
